Peony wedding ring pillow

I love making hand-made flowers and I think it is the first time to share the making process.

Each petals are made from scratch to form a colorful & textural flower! 

I was very excited to work on this custom ordered peony ring pillow 

as it is one of my favorite flower and is right for the season :)

    Each petals are hand-cut to the unique shape.

    Petals are hand-painted in soft gradation of pink with slight green hue.

    Petals are hand-wrinkled to add texture.

    The ends of the petals are rounded using hand-iron.  Thin wires are attached to support the shape.

As requested by the bride, I placed the flower on beautiful bridal quality lace ring pillow.

Wedding fair - Hyundai

 Excited to finally share photos from wedding fair held at Hyundai department store. 

I was very pleased to be invited to the event as Hyundai department store is one of the 

well-recognized department store in Korea. 

The event was held for 3days, 

and it was great to meet other companies in different wedding related business.

Here are photos of our table! 

Variety of items were displayed, hair pins, headbands, veils, ring pillows and hand-made art flowers. 

This is gladiolus bouquet hand-cut and hand-painted with special Japanese fabric.

The tiny prints on the left shows making process of the flowers. 

Fabric bouquets are great memorable keepsake as you can see them in blossom in all seasons around.

Other companies include, sugar cakes, bridal shoes, men's suits, wedding photography and,

of course! wedding dresses as well as Korean traditional dresses were showcased.

Finally, new garters :)

The photoshoot took place 2weeks ago at an antique furnished studio in Korea, 

and I can't be more satisfied with the result!

Wedding show prep!

Again, I've been such a bad blogger, 

but I'm back with some exciting news and projects! 

March was such a unexpectedly busy month because I was suddenly invited to a wedding show,

had to finish wholesale orders and other business projects to personal orders. 

Before I share the show & display photos, here are preparation photos :) 

Trying different ways of layout, although the table of the actual display would be on a round table.

All the flowers you see in the photo are hand-made by me, 

using various types of fabrics from silk to faux leather. 

The flowers mimic real flowers and the best part is that you can see them blooming for all seasons!

I also brought various types of ring pillows, some were new, soon to be updated in our shop. 

Something cute to share!

Custom ring bearer pillow I shipped last week. 

The bride specially asked for this ring pillow because they raise hedgehog,

so is a meaningful ring bearer for them. 

I also used wood burning tip to engrave their names and the special date.
